UV stabilisation
Strong sunlight can make polymers become brittle or lose their colour. UV stabilizers are added in order to prevent this.
Additional equipment
We offer various additional components, with corresponding benefits for your application and the final product.
Details
We can provide the following treatments for your semi-finished plastic products if required:
Strong sunlight can make polymers become brittle or lose their colour. UV stabilizers are added in order to prevent this.
Antistatic treatment prevents sheets from becoming statically charged and dusty; in the case of very thin plates it prevents them from becoming difficult to unstack.
Increased rigidity and altered processing behaviour and shrinkage can be achieved by adding talc.
When used as filler, chalk changes the processing behaviour and can also lead to higher efficiency.
In order to protect packaged goods in thermoformed parts and to prevent these from slipping, our sheets can be treated with a TPE anti-slip coating.
Marking strips of 50 to 200 mm in width can be applied to customer-specified positions to aid optical detection and differentiation of load carriers.
Electrically conductive treatment with specific surface resistivity of <10Ω.
AB, BA and ABA layers (A = virgin, B = recycled or blend of recycled and virgin).
Fine or coarse, see also surface structure.
Folded or bent sheets and hot-stamping die application.
